6. It really burns my ass that we spend months and millons to vet candidates

for lesser offices as well as the SC, and nothing formal is required to be a nominee for the highest office in our land. So, becoming President automatically absolves any and all past indiscretions and crimes, giving the nominee a totally free pass.

As we saw during the last election, public airing of tRumpie's mouthiness did nothing to discredit him from the opportunity to hold office...shameful. It's simply not enough. There needs to be thorough vetting with stringent consequences. Look what we ended up with, even knowing in advance that it was coming. He makes me sicker by the day.
