When I was a kid, only hicks wore their baseball caps backwards. I will never get over that, even today as it is a cool thing to do, when I see anyone with a backwards ball cap, I think "hick."

Which reminds me of that old BIC lighter commercial where a woman is in a dark bar & a man approaches her. She flicks her BIC on & says, "With a flick of my BIC I can see you're a hick."
