The media is playing the game that the "negotiation" is between Trump and the Democratic House. That is all wrong. The House passed the bill already and sent it to the Senate. It is the responsibility of the Senate to pass it or change it. The media pretends that the Senate has no role to play in this "shutdown". At the moment, they are the only player.
