6. I have to admit that when he tried to bring on the pathos

And drama, I kind of threw up in my mouth a little. It really was disgusting to hear him try to use that to jerk our emotions around. This from a disgusting thug who wouldn’t recognize empathy and compassion if they came dressed up in party clothes and leaped out at him. He does not have either of those traits in him. Never has. Never will. And yet he has no hesitancy to use them to promote his fantasy of getting his wall....his way.

And his base will buy it. That was what really irked me the most. He behaved himself and “seemed” almost rational. So they will believe him. I just hope as the shutdown goes on, the fallout comes to them, because it seems that the only way they will finally see the truth about this monster is when they personally get stung by his policies. That is the sad truth about them.
