The New York Democrat, 52, who won reelection in 2018 after being appointed to fill Hillary Clintons seat in 2009, is jumping into the Democrats crowded primary field. Gillibrand has been outspoken about fighting sexual assault in the military and on college campuses, repealing the militarys policy of dont ask, dont tell, and making it easier for Capitol Hill staffers to report their experiences of being sexually harassed or assaulted.
Way to rub in the entire Franken debacle, Kirsten... Yes, she has done some good things on that score and there are important issues to be addressed (sexual assault in military and college campuses--as well as on capitol hill) but....

Saw snippets of Sen. Harris questioning Barr today. For me Sen. Gillibrand has an uphill climb
