2. Much of the time I will

open my phone but make no sound while I wait 15 seconds then hang up. I wait a few minutes and then call the number back. I often get "number disconnected" notices and sometimes it's some unsuspecting individual who has no idea their number is being used for such scams. I also will google some numbers only to find they've been reported already.
