Through bonds, LID's, taxes, etc., most people don't understand just how much is publicly funded. I believe that is the case for what looks to be Mile High/Invesco/YoreTaxDollarsCo Field or whatever they call Denver's NFL stadium these days.

Too bad that the target of that meme will never dig deep enough to understand that.
