In reply to the discussion: The West Has Just Become A Giant Banana Republic [View all]And the situation with DU rules on election campaign time and having an conscience and strive for honesty must be much more difficult for US citizens than us foreign correspondents. But no matter what the rules say, I believe we are first humans, national and partisan identities come long after that if at all, and in this global village I like to stay in touch also with Americans that are at least, mostly, tolerable, to have discussions with.
