That's exactly what Pres Obama did to the Repug congress when they didn't prosecute AG Eric Holder after he was held in criminal contempt. They (the Repub congress) were powerless to do anything. Same as now. I don't seem to remember us worrying about any Constitutional crisis when we did it. Why would they?
This will all be forgotten when the next "Constitutional crisis" comes along.
