(14,863 posts)It's also true that today, most of his remaining ardent supporters are Christian. However, it's impossible to honestly combine Christians into one group and say anything about them. Christianity isn't a single religion. There are more than 1000 denominations of Christianity, plus who knows how many "nondenominational" and "independent" churches, and countless individual practitioners. All of them have their own unique interpretation and practices, and each one is convinced that they are right and that everyone else is doing it wrong. A person can believe or disbelieve just about anything and still be considered one flavor of Christian or another. You should consider them as individuals, because the word "Christian" really is meaningless by itself.
