3. I will glady oblige

As my caffeine has kicked in:

"The only hope of progressives is to force America to realize that,no the sky does not fall when there is not a GOP in the Oval Office; then, as the banks continue being themselves, we can feed them the more progressive types, as they will have nothing else to eat. The GOP will also be forced to tamp down it's image, as a MITT collapse would be a complete fiasco for them."

One: there is a media narrative that says only GOP type can become president. When trying to combat that, we have to acknowledge that many people have been programmed to not even think of a Democrat in the Oval Office. That is what I meant by "the sky does not fall."

Two: as far as feeding them to more progressive types: Once America can elect and keep a Democratic president for two terms, then they can ponder "why not try some of that stuff the people left of Obama and Clinton are selling?" Of course, since the banks will continue being pigs, the climate may be better, as even the thick headed will realize the right wing really has no more tricks, that they could not even BUY an election. If Mitt loses, the right wing will suffer, and at the very least, need to change it's sales tactics.
