cringe this morning, though they probably learned to avoid his tweets as just too painful. Some remember the days when our representatives were supposed to be gentlemen, even if they weren't, and this complete lack of manners and dignity would be unthinkable.

The statement Sen. Blumenthal once made that he had been in Vietnam instead of merely serving in the reserves during the Vietnam War is another issue, of course. We don't excuse this behavior.
