There's not one iota of evidence that his job is in jeopardy. He's been at MSNBC for decades. He's not going anywhere. If his ratings aren't up to snuff, they'll move his show around....maybe.
But he'll still be there.

Matthews' interruptions are irritating but so are Kornacki's ubiquitous statistics and charts.

I'm usually asleep by then. When I do see it, I enjoy the energy and pacing of the show.
