4. Most people don't follow politics as closely as we do

There are many who will vote republican no matter who the candidate is, just because they've always voted republican. And to be honest, the same is true for Democrats. I think there are actually very few people who can swing either way and fewer still are republicans who will switch because they don't like trump. I know that's hard to imagine because we hate him so.

I still think Democrats will win, about 50% to about 48% (2% will vote for fringe candidates). Not exactly a landslide. The Electoral College will be close too because of the bias towards conservative states.
