2. It's obvious what's going on,

Think about why Republican leaders met privately immediately after Barack Obama was elected president. They weren't afraid what a president Obama would do so much as they were afraid of who he was, a black man.

My 86 year old Trumper golfing buddy is a Korean war vet, did Meals on Wheels, is active in his church, serves at military funerals and he loves Donald Trump and hates Hillary Clinton. He once told me that his granddaughter wasn't too bad because she just hates minorities. He asked me what was the day that went down in infamy, I answered, Pearl Harbor. He told me no, it was in 1920 when they passed the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote. This is who Republicans are, they are telling us flat out now since Trump became president, with no need to hide it.
