I clicked on msnbc while I was riding my bike this morning and it must have shown a dozen clips from Trump's hate rally.
The M$M isn't going to push, "You may think it's ok," it is going to push that Schiff is the traitor, that Schiff overstepped his authority, that Mueller proved that Democrats and people in the FBI were on a witch hunt.
Trump is going to run for reelection on being the victim and it is Mueller and Democrats who should be investigated. That's the right wing narrative that will be pushed by cable news. If msnbc is already doing it, I'm sure that the other 2 networks are doing it also.
We need to bring a gun to a gun fight. We need a Daniel Ellsberg. We need more Democrats like Adam Schiff and AOC to speak out forcefully so that the M$M is forced to cover them. We had 2 Democrats sign on to an impeachment bill. Make all of the excuses you want but IMO Trump has long ago done enough to deserve impeachment. Oh but the Senate. Screw the Senate, there will never be enough votes in the Senate to convict Trump.
I served 2 terms on borough council as a Democrat back in the 70's and early 80's in a town that voted for Trump 80-20. My rep was Jack Murtha. Say what you want about him but he brought back jobs to his district. Nancy Pelosi wanted him to be her majority leader. He was a Marine veteran and a strong voice opposed to the Iraq war. They killed him, cut an artery when he was having a routine gall bladder operation. We got Steny Hoyer instead, good man, but no Jack Murtha.
We need to back people like Schiff and AOC. I plan on sending donations to Democrats who aren't afraid to speak out. I also am a member of the ACLU. It is trying to help the downtrodden, like people at our Southern border.
