I keep worrying that when we get to the 2020 presidential election, unless it is an absolute landslide, Trump is certainly going to say that he did not legitimately lose. Trump is going to concoct a national emergency and God knows what else. I’m not among those who think that the United States will have a smooth transition to whoever is president after Trump if he loses in 2020. I’m not at all sure. I think the United States and the American people are really in a position of enormous peril with Donald Trump.
