38. Well, normal for what?

I’ve always thought he covered up his tendency to use words incorrectly by blowharding his way past them but he was generally reading them and in front of a crowd so you could imagine nerves, dissociation (not abnormal in such situations) or some such but he actually seemed lost and unable to find the right word. Forgetting names or words now and then happens in normal mental decline with age and isn’t necessarily an issue (I can be terrible at it) but this had a really odd presentation and I’d say bears watching. He was upset and couldn’t find a way out of it. That was the most troubling.
