6. This thread is useless to me unless people realize,

that issues that people call the far left are in reality the center of America.

We didn't win a blue tsunami by moving to the right, we won by being old fashioned FDR Democrats.

Also, maybe I'm wrong, but is this another Bernie bashing thread?

I get a pension because of my union. Private sector union membership is down to 6%. Why is that? It's because Democrats moved away from the left.
I get Social Security and Medicare because of far left Democrats.

I will be damned if I am told that Democrats need to move right, like say offering up chained CPI to hurt Social Security.
I will be damned if I am told that Democrats need to raise the retirement age, when I retired at 63.
I will be damned if I am told that Democrats need to raise the eligibility age for Medicare, I was able to retire at 63 because my union provided me with health insurance until I hit 65.

We need to move back to the FDR center of America and if Democrats don't like it they can always switch parties.

There is a reason that AOC is the most popular and charismatic Democrat in Congress, she represents the wishes of the majority of the working class. AOC is a shining star who gives me hope about our party and people who bash her because she is friends with Bernie need to get on board it's where the center of America is.
