We discussed the Biden thing. Like me, she doesn't think this is in any way disqualifying or similar to Trump's problems.

BUT. She said that she has many times when those things that women are saying about Biden have happened to her with judges, male attorneys, or other men she deals with in daily life. And she is not in a position where she can say anything about it without it hurting her professionally. So she understands why these women didn't say anything.

We both agreed that we need to have a discussion about this as a society so that men realize that what they are doing isn't always welcome and for myriad reasons the women do not feel comfortable pointing out their discomfort. That attitude does not mean that we think women live in a bubble. If anything, the bubble around men doing what they want without concern for others needs to be burst.
