how do i know them? from work.

i don't think free republic is representative of fundie christians. most i know would be horrified by the vulgar language there. i even know fundie women with openly gay kids who they love to death, as oppose to put death. one is even a big promoter of her gay son's fledgling theater career. you can say these are outliers and not representative but roughly one in five white evangelical christians supports gay marriage. and while a fundie muslim and a fundie christian may both abstractly support "God's law over man's law" how they actually conduct themselves as opposed to what they believe or say is what i am talking about. and yes i know our liberal western culture ristricts what they can do here in terms of imposing their beliefs, i still stand by my thesis.

edited to say god's law over man's law could easily be the rallying cry of abolitionists or the civil rights movement. that can mean a lot of different things to different people.
