The perpetrators of the Munich beerhall putsch would be invited to defend their antisemitism and nationalism on the talk shows. They would be applauded for talking down to, shouting over, and aggressively bullying any opposition voices allowed airtime. They would strut and salute each other like drunk penguins. And Germans would have eaten it up like it was the beginning of a 1000 year reign.
