In order to lose something you must be in possession of something in order to lose it. The Democrats did not control either chamber in 1998 or 2000. The was no resl talk about winning back either chamber. The Democrats were concentrating on getting Gore elected.

You wrote a poorly worded post and you dont like that I corrected your error. I have been a member of DU for a long time and the snark and vitriol that some of the members show each other has hotten worse over that time.

For the record I believe that the House should impeach Trump so that we have a public record of his crimes. The Senate will never convict but I believe the American people want an accounting.
