It's still no excuse for this. Honestly, I would have done some more investigating before firing of everyone. And even if they were just making a statement about not wanting to go back to school, nooses are an exceedingly dumb idea. Teachers usually get put on probation for something like this, which makes me wonder what else might have happened in the past.
