House investigations are going nowhere. Trump is blanket ignoring and stonewalling everything and suing in court to prevent third parties from cooperating. Speeches and subpoenas and contempt resolutions are meaningless. Dems have only two meaningful options: either begin the impeachment process, or else try to pioneer some Hail Mary strategy like sending out the Sergeant at Arms to take administration officials into custody. If we do neither, then we should just drop the whole issue and focus on something else because eventually people are going to figure out that nothing is happening and then the "do nothing Dems" talking point will begin.
