28. Be careful with this, folks. He donated to both parties.

He backs the Republicans. No doubt about it. But he has also donated to some very well known Democrats and Democratic committees, according to Wikipedia. He's an oligarch businessman who owns a huge conglomerate, with chemicals & oil & media holdings. He hedges his bets, seems like.

Look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonard_Blavatnik, in the "Political Donations" section.

Look at the names of candidates he has contributed to. One of the sources for some of those names is Politico. IF it's correct.

There are current Democratic candidates who got a donation or two from this guy in the past. Seems like he's just a greedy multi-billionaire who gives money to anyone he thinks might have power to benefit him financially.
