(151,398 posts)I always used condoms for contraception. I did so carefully. I did not want to reproduce, for reasons I won't go into here. I did not want my partners to have to take hormonal contraceptives, either, and they didn't want to, themselves. So, condoms it was.
Not a problem. Never a problem. Not even if I ran out of them. If I did, I didn't have sex until I got some more.
Men don't have to have sex. We get along fine if we don't. In my 20s, when I was in the USAF, I didn't have opportunities to have sex, so I didn't. It caused me no problems, really.
So, you tell them, Gabrielle. You're right. Men need to take responsibility for their lives and not expect women to make up for their lack of responsibility.
You're absolutely right. Every unwanted pregnancy was caused by a man. Every last one of them. Men can use contraception, too. And they should! Let women decide if they want to bear a child. Men don't have to bear children. Women do. Don't force them to.
