Did you really think the Republicans actually give a crap about Trump? No, they don’t. What they’re doing by defending him is circling the wagons around the GOP itself.

Trump is their useful idiot too. He’s so outrageous that he keeps all eyes on him. He’s nothing more than a carnival barker, a clown. The entire Trump clan is either too stupid or too busy being greedy rats scurrying around or both to bother noticing.

Michael Cohen’s booby prize was to be made deputy chair of the finance committee at the RNC. He’s come out and said that the Republican Party”s been taking money from foreigners including China, and he has the receipts to prove it.

This is why the Republicans have backed Citizens United. It’s like what progressive radio talk show host, Thom Hartmann, has pointed out: we haven’t had a legitimate Republican president since Eisenhower.

All that’s left to write about the GOP at this point is its obituary.
