7. I think that it's being used more and more

My problem with Ketamine as treatment is that often people with Bi-Polar have a history of drug or alcohol abuse, and adding ketamine to the mix can be problematic. A friend of mine was being treated with this. Treatments were not covered under her insurance, and she paid out of pocket. It was quite expensive. So then she had the "idea" to buy street ketamine and treat that way. Doing this outside of the supervision of a properly trained therapist is extraordinarily dangerous.

That is ONE individual, so I know it's not a sample.

(The above has little to do with this story. But if this traveler was carrying ketamine ON him, not so sure how that's official treatment.)
