That's the date scheduled for oral argument. That's a pretty short timetable - they put it on an accelerated schedule.

It may seem far off, but that's not a lot of time. The attorneys have to prepare and submit briefs and responsive and reply briefs to the court in the meantime. Usually this takes several months - 7 weeks is very fast.
