It has been a while, but when I was in service, NO unofficial modifications to the uniform were allowed. These are members of the Air Force, Navy, Marines, or Navy of the USA NOT POTUS.
As for the commenter who suggests we shouldnt take it seriously, i couldnt disagree more. Time to find out who authorized political adornments to the uniforms purchased with my taxes.
