He is the brave young man who stood before Putin (who started him down, Jon says) and asked him the two questions in Helsinki that got the matter of intentional Russian favor of Trump on the record. He did not know he would be called on. But he had his questions ready, and rose to the occasion. Without our intrepid watchdog WH press, we would be so much worse off than we are.
