In areas where the kooks have a specific position, e.g. defeating mass transit, and consequently will send out people to visit door-to-door, they pre-screen neighborhoods to identify persuadable voters, then skip the rest. So, I suppose we can thank the kooks in this case from sparing us more of these visits, in races that attract national GOPee interest and support.
