so why should we? Trump's misuse of the word "treason" is one of the best of many examples.

"Concentration camp" historically has very negative connotations on both sides of the pond and should be used carefully. However, the phrase does have tremendous mental impact on Americans and due to the lack of transparency and many obvious abuses of human rights in the detention process on our Southern border, perhaps we should use the phrase to awaken Americans to the lawlessness of Trump's DHS people.

IMO, it's very important our citizens know that these horrible things are being done in our name and that the camps are being shielded from proper inspection.

From Wikipedia:

Internment is the imprisonment of people, commonly in large groups, without charges or intent to file charges, and thus no trial. The term is especially used for the confinement "of enemy citizens in wartime or of terrorism suspects". Thus, while it can simply mean imprisonment, it tends to refer to preventive confinement, rather than confinement after having been convicted of some crime. Use of these terms is subject to debate and political sensitivities.

Interned persons may be held in prisons or in facilities known as internment camps. In certain contexts, these may also be known either officially or pejoratively, as concentration camps.
