CDC has been a big leader in that.

Which is why Trump's isolationist attitudes and especially in his funding initiatives is soooooo dangerous. CDC has been forced out of many areas where their epidemiological assistance was critical to early recognition, disease identification, obtaining and sharing those infectious organism isolates. This effort is being hurt under Trump.
