Yesterday, a delegation went and that was very impactful.

It's a waste of effort for every Member to go up to one location. That's the point of sending a delegation - the full Congress delegates to a smaller group to go, observe, report back, and draw attention. 200-plus Members showing up anywhere would just create a mess, not to mention that it would be an expensive logistical nightmare.

Traveling Congressional delegates, aka "CODELs" are extremely complicated operations, including military transport, security, staffing, etc. It's more than a notion and it's more involved than just hopping a flight to a location and Ubering over to the site.

They're doing it right by sending a small delegation to get the information and shine a light on what's going on there.
