54. That would just have made things quicker

One time, I was staying in a hotel in Charleston, S.C., when Bill Clinton and Hillary were staying on the same floor. I had my guitar with me and saw that the Secret Service guys in front of their room were casting nervous glances when I checked in. After putting it in the room, I walked up to them. They asked, "are you staying on this floor?" I said, "yes, but you're who I came to talk to. I know who's in that room. He knows me, too. I wanted you guys all to know that I will be playing some music here, and that's really a guitar in my guitar case. I wanted to get this out of the way now so you don't get nervous every time you see me coming in or out of my room or the elevator." They were grateful and not a little relieved as well.
