that sometimes slinks around various parts of our state of Tennessee; and

Whereas I can say the statutes of Tennessee require me as governor to issue a proclamation every year recognizing this KKK grand wizard; and

Whereas I am a gutless wonder with a big yellow stripe down my back;

I am therefore not issuing a proclamation that actually tells the truth about Nathan Bedford Forrest but will instead issue a different proclamation that claims we should remember this loser as a military genius
