(60,442 posts)(in a week) as I noticed it: a little dribble of blood in my urine - in 2012. They found the cancer looking at something else in a CATscan. I had no indications for bladder cancer except a long exposure to second hand smoke, about something I used to make fun of people over. Shame on me.
Ironically the cancer I have/had doesn't usually make tumors, it stays close in profile to the bladder liner. That unusual tumor showed up
I've had five bladder surgeries, an extra long BCG regimen and a half of my colon removed (I have a semi colon) which kinda complicated this last mamalama surgery while they got the colon surgeon into the OR to roadmap what they did and this las team had to trim the colon further for the bladder removal re-plumbing job.
Me and cancer are at least in a draw and eternal vigilance is required, we may have completely gotten it, we may have a skirmish or two more.
I'm up for the fight. I know I still have more good years. I'll get to see Trump dumped and a Democratic renaissance over the next eight years and that would be a satisfactory slipping into the next Bardo.
