2. Heed these tips.....

Stay fed and hydrated, water preferred.
Avoid Alcohol in excessive amounts.
That goes for sugary drinks as well.
Keep wet washcloths handy.
Avoid strenuous exercise during the hottest part of the day.
Keep curtains drawn if possible to blot out the sun.
If you have to be outside, wear light clothing, a hat, umbrella to keep the sun off you, water handy.

Most of all, keep pets inside. Make sure children are not left in cars.
