A white Republican strategist on MSNBC explaining to a black man why Trump's not a racist [View all]
Made the mistake of having MSNBC's "Weekends With Alex Witt" on in the background.
I know, I know. I never "watch" her and virtually every time I have her on, I have to change the channel because of some ludicrous moment.
Like Republican strategist Amy Tarkanian.

She did a LENGTHY recitation of all of the current GOP talking points regarding why Trump is not a racist, and why the "Squad" tweets were not racist.
ON EDIT: Democratic strategist Don Calloway then responded.
He offered a straightfoward response, saying that you can't tell people of color that something "isn't" racist, because they can feel racism.
The whole time he's speaking, Tarkanian is squirming in her seat, eyes bugging out, facial tics, every body language sign in the book that she disagrees with everything being said.
AND THEN...
WHEN HE FINISHES...
Witt says "I have to give Amy a moment to respond to this."
JESUS.
So she started right back in on the talking points and I changed the channel.
