Trump will promise him a pardon if he keeps him out of it. Epstein will be found guilty, sentenced to a prison sentence that is effectively life. But the pardon will never come. At that point, it will be too late for him to be believable.

If Epstein doesn't agree, he has an accident while in custody and doesn't make it to trial.

Epstein must agree to Trump's terms and then slip the testimony in unexpectedly.

This whole presidency is nothing but a spy novel.
