(40,416 posts)85. Indeed. I agree. But which president is most like Myron Floren?
Myself, I cannot remember an a presidential accordianist. Maybe you have a nomination? I am so confused about these critically important issues.
Whatta am I gonna do? I guess I should start drinking very heavily. Pshaw! Thelma Ritter's dead and somebody's gotta try to hold up the epitome of snark, successful or not. At least we try.
A snarky class act. Why she didn't get a supporting actress Oscar, I'll never know.
After the RNC rubbish and multiple martinis, my brain is subject to wander.
I think I'll watch Rear Window tonight. One of Hitch's best, meaning it's the best of the best. And Thelma Ritter chews up the scenery like no other could. Brilliant theatre. She has all the great lines and she delivers them with precision.
Unfortunately, the Repukes never took lessons from Thelma Ritter.
I want to see more Thelma Ritter in this campaign. Mitt wouldn't stand a chance. Who's Obama's Thelma Ritter?

OP
Evidence suggests he could dodge bullets. That said, I think Old Hickory could take him.

Jackson and Ike were both 62 when they took office. Giving up almost 20 years in a knife fight

Teddy? Pshaw! This is a knife fight, dammit, not Marquess of Queensbury fisticuffs.

Truman would nuke them all and blame them for bringing a knife to a bomb fight

He was shot before a speech and THEN gave it anyway! Literally "only a flesh wound."

Nixon would win easily - he's a heartless asshole who would find any way to win.
