(79,258 posts)I want to add something to your observation about having him associate with people, including Bill Clinton. It wasn't only to protect himself in case he was caught. More importantly, in my opinion, was that he used that association to gain the trust of foreign individuals who thought, "Heck, if this guy hangs out with Clinton, he must be safe."
Now, back in the 1992 primary season, I did wish that Al Gore would be on top of the ticket, with Clinton as VP. I did a heck of a lot of campaigning for the ticket in the general election season. Still, while I respect President Clinton, he has never been my favorite. But I have seen nothing -- absolutely nothing! -- that implicates him in anything close to Epstein's criminal behaviors. And I cannot say the same about Trump.
