(6,801 posts)since you persist in this: I was pointing out the hypocrisy of many on here (and presumably their counterparts on the other side) wherein every altercation involving a member of a well liked group (say the OWS for this forum, the teaparty for others) is immediately assumed to be the act of paid agent provocateurs from the "other side". However those exact same people are perfectly willing to believe the same behavior from a member of a less well liked group (say the RNC for this forum) must be a representative of that movement and could not possible be a disrupter posing as a member of that group.
In literally ever OWS thread I've read these sort of actions would be immediately labeled the act of foreign enemy agents.
In this thread literally no one (except yours truly) even considered the same notion but in reverse and in fact some people got angry at the very thought.
It's classic human behavior: believe only the good about people you like and believe the worst about the other side, changing standards for proof as convenient.
