4. You have to tell Chrome settings what your startup page is

Open up the Chrome settings and delete the Yahoo startup page, enter the URL for the startup page you want instead. I think there's an option that says "Tell me if this setting changes" in which it will ask you if you really want to change your page. That's because some websites are sneaky about changing it to something you don't want.
