In reply to the discussion: Rachel Maddow's ratings slump [View all]shraby
(21,946 posts)10. It's no wonder. They only have her on Tue. Wed. Thur. and sometimes Fri.
Also they've been moving everyone around all the time anymore.
I watch a show because I like the way they present the gnus. I like Katie Tur, Ari Melber, Chris Hayes, Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O'Donnell and Brian Williams.
When they have stand-ins that are below par of course they won't get the ratings. Some of the morning ones leave a lot to be desired. Many are too right leaning, and Chuck Todd tops that bunch.

I watch Rachel every week day night, when she takes off a night I really get upset.

Entertainment should be second to truth. Something FOX doesn't concern itself with.

Rachel needs to mix things up on the show. Any teacher, no matter how fascinating, who lectures

Do not agree with your post. That "repetition" is needed to keep everyone up to date.
