is soon to come to a head and believe he will not be on the ticket himself.

If the voices of disenchanted former supporters like the Mooch (and others) increase with their own suppositions that he won't be on the ticket, perhaps there is some reason to suspect a "trial balloon" is being orchestrated from within the established RW?
