I knew when the British gave it up that Hong Kong would be subjugated by the Chinese soon. This may not seem like very soon to some people, but it was practically yesterday. Tyranny despises freedom. I hope Hong Kong puts up a brave fight. They have everything to lose if they don't. I'd rather sit on a pile of ashes than be part of China.
