(24,502 posts)No, I did not personally Photoshop the photo in the OP. It was from Twitter, and while I didn't share the link to the tweet, it seemed to be from a legitimate account.
If Trump is in the shot, I can't consider it to be early. If it were a shot of empty seats without Trump, that would be a different story.
If you have proof that the photo in the original photo is fake, of course, I will remove it.
But remember...Trump's people see what we see, and they move people around at his rallies frequently. If there is a possibility that the photo in my OP is a fake shot...and I am reluctant to believe it...there is an equal possibility that seats were later filled to "balance" media coverage.
Everything I post here is in good faith, verified to the best of my ability, and I don't think there is a single Dem on DU who stands for the truth more than I do.
Once I have confirmed that something I post is in error, I remove it immediately. It's the way I've operated throughout my entire time here. But in this case, I am not convinced it is a fake or Photoshopped photo, so, pending confirmation, I'm going to leave it in place. Thanks for your understanding.
